Nursery Rhymes

Because we are looking forward to a new granddaughter, this video immediately got my attention. How cute are these layouts?  If you have a Cricut cutting machine, you will love the Cricut Cartridges available from Close to My Heart!

We are enjoying our time in the Texas sunshine, but I'm getting a little itchy to be back home in my craft room. (Too bad I could not bring it here!)  Hopefully, I will have some new projects posted next week.
Till later...Sue

Vacation!

I will not be posting any projects for a couple weeks as we are currently on a mission trip to Joplin and will then be taking a short vacation.  This week will find me helping with home construction...what?  I guess I can carry lumber and clean up afterward!  Next week Ron and I will be in Texas hopefully soaking  up sun.  In the meantime, I will watch for videos that I hope may interest you.  Here is one that features the embossing folders that are new to this Idea Book and Catalog.

I hope you are all keeping warm and using all these snowy days to catch up on your paper crafting!

Ariana Once More

This is my favorite of the cards I created with Ariana.  It features the stamp sets, Sincere Expressions and Frame it Up. I especially like the Bronze Glitter Trim and the Epoxy Bubbles. All items are currently available from Close to My Heart.

More Ariana

I love the Ariana paper set (X7179B), so I decided to share another layout I created with this paper pack. This time, I left the comfort of the Workshop on the Go and used the Pleasing Paradigm pattern from page 94 in the book, Cherish Scrapbooking Program.  Cherish (9038) is one of eight Close to My Heart publications that offer patterns, cutting guides and instructions for scrapbooking and card making. With fewer and fewer paper crafting magazines available, these books can offer you countless ideas for your projects.

Now some details about this project.  All the papers are from the Ariana set.  I chose some of the darker prints to add richness to this layout about my visit to the southern city of Savannah.  The strips with the scalloped design are zip strips from one of the Background and Texture papers.  The stamped sentiment is from the stamp set included in the Ariana Workshop on the Go (G1074). The bling are the new Black & Grey Epoxy Bubbles.  They are included in the WOTG or available as a separate item.  Now about the feathers:  There is an awesome new stamp set appropriately called Feathers (C1584) in the new book.  I, however, forgot to add it to my order!  Because I had a cutting file for my Gazelle machine, I went ahead and cut them with Whisper and White Daisy cardstock and then shaded with a dauber and Whisper ink.

I have done two layout with Ariana and still have a lot of paper left.  I am thinking I will do some cards next, so please check back in a couple days to see what I have come up with. Join me on a new Product Blog Hop!

The Spring and Summer Close to My Heart Idea Book and Catalog is now available!  It is full of wonderful new products that I know you will love.  Please join me and some of my fellow Close to My Heart consultants on this blog hop while we show you some projects created with these new goodies!  The inspiration for my project is the alternative project from the Ariana Workshop on the Go.  I followed the design almost to the letter and I love the results!

Make sure to stop by during the coming week for additional stops on the hop.  I hope you find inspiration for your scrapbooking and paper crafting.!
