New Idea Book!

I have no project to show you today.  I have been busy looking at the Fall and Winter Idea Book that became available for consultants today.  Oh my goodness!  New product lines, a new Cricut cartridge that is totally awesome, Hostess Only stamp sets, and new trendy paper packets!  Customer orders will be accepted on August 1st.  Contact me to receive your new Idea Book

In the meantime, supplies are running low on paper packets from the Spring and Summer Idea Book.  The Clair, Avonlea and Later Sk8r packets are no longer available.  Paper packets carrying over to the Fall and Winter Book are For Always, Chantilly, Surf's Up and Tommy. Stamp sets are manufactured in house so all stamp sets from both the Fall and Winter and Spring and Summer books as well as those that have coordinating Cricut designs are available through July.  To see a list of products retiring on July 31st, email me and I will email you a copy.  Of course, supplies of retiring items are limited so order early!
.
I am leaving on vacation next week, so posts will be sporadic for a few weeks.  To receive email notifications of new posts, go to the top left hand corner of this blog and submit your email address. For your convenience in ordering products, I will be setting up a gathering on my website.  I will also be checking my email and will be happy to respond to any questions.

Happy Scrappin and Stampin!

For Always

Today I have a quick card created from the very beautiful paper packet, For Always.  The neutral tones of these papers make them perfect for weddings, anniversaries and many other occasions.  You can also add a pop of color such as Lagoon, Honey, Pear or any of the bright hues from Close to my Heart's Exclusive Color Palette. I have chosen to use the paper with a white contrast and some bling for accent.  Enjoy!

Bushel and a Peck!

I love this layout made with the Claire paper packet and I love the little boys that are the main subject!  In addition to the Claire paper, this layout utilized the Patterned Pennants stamp set (D1534) to create the design on the cute little pennants and also the sunburst in the lower right hand corner.  The title was cut with the Artiste cartridge for the Cricut and the negative space was used for a fresh look. I also used the Trinkets Wooden Shapes (Z1844)  as accents and the Keyboard Kraft Alphabet (Z1825) to spell out the names of those cute little boys.  Credit for this project needs to be given to the CTMH staff that taught this at the Regional Celebration in Schaumburg.

Summer Party Contest

Good morning!  It has been awhile since I posted anything for you, and for that I apologize.  I have been busy making memories and have had little time to preserve them!  I have a couple layouts started and will be posting them soon.  In the meantime, take a few minutes to view this short video and follow the directions to enter a contest to win a fun summer stamp set.  Good Luck!

All Star!

Do you have a young someone in your life that is playing ball this summer?  If so, be sure to preserve those memories with a scrapbook layout.  While balls, bats and other themed accents are perfect, consider creating your theme by pulling colors out of the pictures you have chosen.  Here I used the denim look paper from the Claire paper packet and turned once again to the Dream Pop kit to bring out the colors of Emily's uniform.  She was chosen to be on the all star team, so it was it was a natural thing to add stars as accents and in the title.  By the way, Emily has turned into quite the little first baseman (or is it baseperson--I'm never sure!).  Today was the All Star game--I see another layout coming on!

Tommy!

I love the nautical colors and theme of the Tommy paper packet!  I found it to be the perfect paper for the layout about the launching of the new pontoon boat.  I especially like the canvas embellishments that coordinate so beautifully with the paper.
