The White Daisy circles were cut 1.5 inch on the Cricut and stamped with the dotted circle from the Some Kinda Wonderful--Scrapbooking set with willow ink. I cut two banners on the Cricut and stamped them with Peacock and Willow inks. I trimmed the Willow piece within the wavy lines and bumped it up with thin foam adhesive onto the Peacock piece. The embellishments are from the Black and White Dots set.
I will be sending this card to a young man to congratulate him on his theater performance.

What a fun card! I love that you covered some of the circles. Just an all round fun card! Thanks for sharing at Color My Heart.

DeleteThis is a nice card, I like how you used the stamp set for your title and accents.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love how you did the random circles on the Paper Fundamentals. Normally I have difficulty with the large circles as background and want to cover it; but the added circles with white cardstock stamped with willow makes it quite appealing...and no cover-up needed. Fun and interesting card. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare and looking forward to your creation for Friday's new challenge.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Checking for the new palette is one of the first things I do on Fridays!
DeleteWhen I first saw this card I thought of golf balls!! Thanks for creating such a fabulous card for us at the Color Dare blog! We love seeing your work on a regular basis.

Ahh..now I see the golf balls! Yet another use for Some Kinda Wonderful!
DeleteInteresting way to use these large circles - I always struggle with the super large patterns for cards. You did a great job of USING them rather than hiding them! Considering that theatre and acting are always considered "big", this is a perfect card for the occasion. Thanks for joining us once again at Colour Dare - look forward to seeing next week's creation :)
ReplyDeleteAs always, I appreciate your kind comments!
ReplyDeleteSimple, but very effective! Lovely job Sue.
